Unfortunately I got very sick the morning of the trip and asked to postpone to the next day which was accepted generously. I then had to cancel for the following day and request a refund as I was still unwell and the team were very helpful and assisted in getting the full money back, great customer service.

The tour company was very flexible and willing to design a tour based on my needs. Dambulla caves and Sigiriya were incredible. The driver was professional and courteous. My only complaint is that insufficient attention was paid to time. I had to be back at my hotel by a specific time and had communicated this to the driver and tour company. However, because we were short on time, I did not make it all the way to the top of Sigiriya. To be fair, it was an ambitious goal to even attempt that in a day but I wish I had been advised to leave earlier or guided a little better during the day. I did book a second tour with this company given my overall good experience and reasonable prices.

Despite the long journey from Colombo, this was a very memorable day! Beware of the heat at Sigiriya and bring water. The food at the lunch location, Pradeep restaurant, was the best food I had in Sri Lanka. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable.
