What to expect
Mermaid Day Tour from Puerto Jimenez – Corcovado National Park Travelers begin the adventure at 5:30 a.m. in Puerto Jimenez, taking a scenic boat to the heart of Corcovado National Park. During the journey it is common to observe dolphins, turtles and, in season, humpback whales. Arriving at Siren Station, around 7:45 a.m., you begin a guided hike along primary and secondary jungle trails, with the opportunity to observe monkeys, tapirs, macaws, coatis and birds. Our certified naturalist guides interpret flora and fauna, providing an educational and close experience with nature. At 11:30 a.m. lunch is served at the station, and at 12:45 p.m. the return by boat begins, arriving at the Puerto Jimenez pier around 2:20 p.m. This tour takes place in small groups of up to 8 people plus guide, ensuring a personalized, safe and enriching experience in the most biodiverse jungle on the planet.
