    The most common way to reach Sirena Ranger Station is by boat from Drake Bay. Several tour operators offer daily departures, typically around 6:00 AM. The boat trip takes approximately one hour, following the coastline south. Upon arrival, there is a wet landing on the beach, followed by a short walk (20 minutes) to the ranger station. The cost for a round-trip boat tour, including park entrance fees, a guide, and lunch, ranges from $95 to $150 per person. Park entrance fees for non-residents are $15 per day.

  • Hiking

    Adventurous travelers can hike to Sirena Ranger Station from other sectors of Corcovado National Park, such as Los Patos or La Leona. The hike from Los Patos is approximately 20 km (12.4 miles) and takes 8-9 hours, while the hike from La Leona is 16.5 km (10.25 miles) and takes 6-7 hours. These hikes are challenging and require a guide. It is essential to reserve permits in advance, up to six months, by emailing reservaciones.pnc@sinac.go.cr. Park entrance fees are $15 per day for non-residents.

  • Air
