My travel group and I went on several tours with this company. All the employees, including the training staff, did a stellar job! Not only did they have a great knowledge of local businesses and experiences, they also had great recommendations for stores and restaurants that were great to eat and visit! Walking through the landscape with a wonderful guide who pointed out the plants and their characteristic and uses, and ultimately visiting a rural village for a sense of what life is and was like on the lagoon.

The experience was amazing. The 7Km hike was challenging a bit for a short stretch. Joan our guide spoke perfect English and she was very informative and accommodating. The canoe around the lagoon was fun, but hot, bring a hat! The exposure to the local culture and the food was interesting, fun and tasty as well. Overall it was money and 1/2 a day well spent. Be prepared to be HOT though

I never got to go on the tour. According to your description on the website, I was to meet the tour at the dock. I waited for a half hour and did not see them. Then I received an email from them saying they are leaving without me. I am not going to use Viator anymore, as the tour operator refuses to refund my money. I can’t rationalize spending over a hundred dollars and not being able to utilize the tour.

The village was very interesting, especially to see that people still live such a natural, quiet and yet happy lifestyle and they were so very friendly and we were fed a banquet. The ride in the canoe was fun and Aline did an amazing job. Her knowledge was very vast about the culture, agriculture, and village. Thank you, Aline!!!
