It is a gigantic monument built-in 1561. It was built for the youngest son of Akbar's wet nurse. It is also situated within the Qutub complex where lies the biggest brick Minaret.
Hauz Khas Village
This village is a combination of both tradition and modernization. It was the royal water tank as the name suggest 'Hauz' meaning Water Tank and Khas 'Royal'. It is also situated in the Hauz Khas complex where mosques and tombs are built.
Qutub Minar
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built-in 1192 and is situated in Mehrauli. The area around is known as the Qutub complex. It is the tallest Minaret built up of bricks.
Pasar Chandni Chowk
It is Asia's biggest and oldest market of the 17th century and is a one-stop for all necessary things. It is known as Chandni chowk as it is 'lit' all the time. Special flea bazaars are situated here on Sundays.
This was the main residence of the Mughal dynasty in Delhi. Apart from this every year the Prime Minister of India hoists the Indian flag at its main gate. It has a 2km long wall made of bricks.
Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib
In the honor of Guru Tegh Bahadur, this Sikh temple was built in 1783 by Baghel Singh. It is known for its sacred Banyan tree which is the national tree of India because of its immortality.
The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' has names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall who died during the First World War. It is also the place where an eternal flame burns in a soldier's remembrance.
Rashtrapati Bhavan
It is an impressive 330 acres architecture of 1929, constructed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker who are in fact responsible for constructing almost whole of the New Delhi.
Jama Masjid
It is one of the world's largest mosques. It was built in 1656 with the help of 5000 workers. It is situated in front of the royal residence 'Red Fort', in the midst of Chandni chowk.
Gandhi Smriti
This place marks an area where Gandhi spent most of his life and also where he was assassinated. It was initially the house of big business tycoons of India 'Birla Family'.
Raj Ghat
A memorial ground dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi after his assassination in 1948. Originally a 'ghat' (River Bank), this place is surrounded by other memorials and is a true reflection of Gandhi's love for peace and nature.

Jamali Kamali Tomb and Mosque
It is a combination of beauty and historicity. This 16th century Mughal architecture was built after the names of two persons 'Jamali' and 'kamali' while the former meant beauty, the later was associated with Jamali and his antecedents.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the first Garden Tomb of India commissioned in 1569-70. The sole purpose of Humayun's wife was to build this tomb after his death.
Swaminarayan Akshardham
It is one of the biggest Hindu Temples. It was built in 2005 and has the idol of Swaminarayan Akshardham surrounded by precious and semi-precious stones.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
It was originally a bungalow of Indian Ruler, this Sikh shrine history of transformation into a religious place is a must be known. Built-in the 1780s this shrine offers food (Lungar) 24*7.
Lotus Temple
It is known as the 21st Century Taj Mahal. There is a total of 9 lotus temples around the world. 9 is a special number that characterizes the Baha'i religion for which this lotus temple is built.
