What to expect
Our guide will pick you up in our vehicle from Cuenca at 07:00 am, we will travel for 3 hours approx. to get Alausi canton in the province of Chimborazo.
Centro Historico de Alausi
At 10:00 we will have a short city tour of Alausi visiting the central square, the train station, the Lluglly viewpoint from where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the canton and part of the train line, also you will see many people of the Puruha culture wearing their typical costumes. After this visit you will travel 30min to the viewpoint of the Devil´s nose mountain from where the guide will explain the most important information about this unique engineering work. And for hikers optional to walk on the trail that conect the viewpoint to the Sibambe train station.
Our guide will take you after lunch on a 2-hour trip to the most important Archaeological Complex of Ecuador, Ingapirca del Cañar, in this place the guide will give you information about the Cañari and Inca cultures and you will have the possibility of knowing the only temple of elliptical form of the Inca empire.
