What to expect
Petra Zoranić Place
The meeting point is at the most natural starting place for a tour, next to the ancient city gate and the Roman column that marks the beginning of the main street.
Church of St. Simon
The first stop is next to the church that hides one of the country's most important and revered religious treasures. Just steps away, we'll taste local fish dish paired with regional white wine.
Narodni trg
Passing through the main square, the center of urban life in Zadar since medieval times where the city’s urban identity took shape, and where the first bars opened already in early 18th century.
Zadar Market
We’ll visit the local market, where locals sell daily caught fish and locally grown vegetables. Next to it are the remains of an old church, now transformed into a cool and unique wine garden. There, we’ll taste local prosciutto and cheese, paired with a rich red wine.
Zadar
Walking along the main street of the old town - Kalelarga - which has been walked upon since Roman times.
We’ll stop at the city's most important cultural site, the largest Roman forum on the eastern Adriatic. You'll hear stories of urban life in ancient times and learn about the dynamic history of Zadar
Restoran Zadar - Jadera
The narrow streets of the Varoš neighborhood offer a clear glimpse into Zadar’s vibrant urban culture. Established in the 16th century by hardworking families, it remains a lively part of the city. Here, we’ll try ćevapi and enjoy locally brewed craft beer made by women.
Novi caffe
At the final stop of our tour, in a traditional bar, we’ll toast to the memories made and the friendships formed with a selection of local liquors. Živjeli! [cheers!]
