    Ann I'm so glad I booked your tour of the Dutch historical sites, we had such great talks and you opened up a whole new side of the city for me!     The Guide was professional and well prepared. On the other hand, it is sad that New York City has preserved almost nothing of its origins. For example, places reserved for ruins, walls and foundations of the first arrivals as other cities have done. There was a place where you could see some ruins through a dirty plexiglass and everything is not maintained. There were some wall plaques but even in one place a commemorative plaque was removed. But the Guide did his best to make our visit interesting. Thank you.

    Ann is very friendly and knowledgeable about all sorts of Dutch history in lower Manhattan. And not just Dutch history -- if there are interesting things to tell about buildings and signs along the way, she will talk about those as well. She also shows an eagerness to learn about the things she may not know yet, so our tour was as much a conversation as it was a sequence of small history lessons. Very much enjoyed this one.
