What to expect
Heraklion
We will pick you up from your hotel or cruise Heraklion port or an address arranged before . We will start our tour by visiting an olive oil factory where we learn all about and olive oil production and taste different samples of local olive oils . Next we visit a few old traditional villages up to an altitude of 1000 feet above sea level where we walk through the old narrow streets and travel back in time while learning about the history of the village and local traditions. After that we will enjoy a drink at the main square of the village. we drive through mountains , olive groves and grapevines while we enjoy a glass of local wine , or 2 glasses………Tasting a few local wines up on the mountain with amazing views is a must . After this experience we hit the road to go back to where we started ( propably drunk and singing……) well when we say drunk we don’t mean the driver .
