Our guide, Rasta, and driver, Damien, were from Paddle 9 guide services. We could not have had a better experience. The Eco-Chontales Waterfall tour was by far one of the best experiences we had during our time in Costa Rica. Corey and Reese were our tour guides and they were the absolute best! I highly recommend to book with them if possible. They were knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun! You can tell they love what they do. The hike to get to the waterfall is about 15 minutes and not made for someone who suffers from injuries or lack of fitness but once there, it’s almost unreal how beautiful it is. We were able to jump from a 5ft Cliff, the option to jump from a 30ft cliff, received a detoxing all natural clay mask, fresh organic fruits and a delicious lunch after swimming. We also had water available to us if we wanted throughout the entire tour. Again, I highly recommend this tour my bf and I had such a good time! Corey and Reese were definitely made for this! Book with them, you will not be disappointed!

Had a wonderful experience with Paddle 9 (Corry and Reece…they were knowledgeable and obviously love what they do). We arrived in the morning and had the area all to ourselves (2 families of 4) for several hours…and only a handful of people showed up.
The waterfall was lovely and our family of 4 (2 boys ages 12 and 10) floated in the water and jumped off a large boulder. There was a much larger jump that we weren’t daring enough to do. The water was chilly that felt refreshing and getting in and out was a bit rocky (my chaco’s were perfect to wear). We capped off the visit with a typical lunch that was delicious. Oh, and we rubbed some clay on our faces, let it dry, and got a facial basically!
The short hike to and from the waterfall was a bit steep and slick with the recent rain but most people could handle. The drive to the waterfall from Aguirre wasn’t about 1 hour, but the last 15 km or so was super bumpy and going over some sketchy bridges (but the driver and guides were confident).

This was the best and most exciting adventure we have booked in Costa Rica so far during our 2 week honeymoon vacation. We enjoyed ourselves so much because it was an AMAZINGLY beautiful place. But we want to give a special thanks to our hosts and guides, Damian, Nacho and Macho (amazing driving man!) who were the best, always making sure we felt 100% safe and helped us focus on having fun. I never thought I would be able to walk on a water fall. Thanks to your team I’ve checked that item off my bucket list. We will for sure be back to have more adventures like this one! Thank you for helping us make this wonderful memory.

Rasta & Nacho were great guides. Safety was their priority but also FUN! We cliff jumped and had an amazing meal right near the falls. Highly recommend with kids, maybe kids older than 7.
