Gyeongsangbuk-do

We will visit the Gyeongsangbuk-do Arboretum! This arboretum exhibits local plants from Ulleungdo, an island off Korea’s eastern coast that is home to a special ecosystem that includes rare trees and wildflowers. The arboretum has total of 24 gardens, including the Alpine Botanical Garden, Ulleungdo Native Plant Garden, and Needle-leaf Tree Garden. Here, you'll be able to get some fresh air out of the busy city of Seoul and enjoy the large gardens. Let's enjoy nature together at the arboretum ^^ It will take us about five hours to get here, including a 45 minute lunch break at a rest stop. We will be here for an hour and 15 minutes, then it will take us 30 minutes to get to our next destination.

Igari anchor observatory

After being surround by nature, here you'll be able to feel the ocean breeze and hear the melodic crashing of waves on the shore below. This anchor-shaped observatory anchors ships near the beautiful beach and blue sea pines in Pohang. With a height of 10 meters and a length of 102 meters, visitors can see an amazing view of the open sea. Think about all the beautiful pictures you will take! We will be here for 30 minutes, then it will take about 5 minutes to get to our next location.

You'll be able to relax and enjoy the view while eating and drinking delicious treats the cafe provides~ We will be here for 40 minutes, then it will take about 10 minutes to get to our next destination.

Daewonsa Temple

Daewonsa Temple, also known as the “Dragon Temple”, is located at the eastern foot of Jirisan Mountain. It was first constructed in 1945 just after the Japanese colonization of Korea came to an end. There’s a giant dragon that twists and turns through the mountainside, and you can enter the mouth to get to the temple’s lower hall. This temple has many treasures, and you'll be able to learn a lot about Buddhism and Korean history in these halls. We will be here for an hour and 15 minutes, then it will take us about 5 hours to get back to Seoul.
