    This was a really great tour. It lasts around 25 minutes and is well worth it. Our guide on this particular day was Dave and he was awesome. He gave us a lot of very useful information and historical information on the area. He was super nice and very funny as well. Its a great way to see the windmills from the water and to learn about them and the areas as well. I highly recommend this tour!!

    We came to Zaans Schans on a whim; and we were just having a look at the windmills when we were approached by a very friendly Anna who told us about the tour. Initially we thought it was another one of those boat tours where they over sell the tour… but we were not disappointed! It exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic skipper, Ebai … great knowledge of the history and fantastic personality. He gave my 9 yr old son a chance to steer the boat, which made his day! I would highly recommend!

    It was such a highlight of our trip to Zaanse Schans! We were greeted by a lovely young lady who told us about the cruise and we were sold! The skipper of our boat was so friendly and welcoming and very knowledgable! It was very shocking to hear that he had only been doing it for 3 months when he was so relaxed, funny and quick with information! (I’m just sorry I can’t remember his name!) The cruise was amazing and we learnt so much in 30 minutes about the history of the windmills and local area. I would HIGHLY recommend this as part of your visit for Zaanse Schans!

    Walkin round the windmills was nice... But the boat gives a whole other perspective. This was a must do activity, can't say anything else about it. The story is great, the boats are nice and the staff is extremely friendly, wouldn't miss it for the world. Täck from Sweden!

We leave from the main dock at the Zaanse Schans and we cover the following: -All the 10 windmills of the Zaanse Schans -The traditional Dutch houses -The chocolate factory -Whale hunting house -Tea house -And much more Our experienced and knowledgeable skipper will provide you with everything you need to know about the Zaanse Schans, the windmills and the history of this place. Please note that every tour is different, considering the group and their points of interests. All our skippers tailor the tour to the needs of the group in order to make it as fun and interactive as possible. All our tours are also limited to a maximum of 12 persons, to ensure a personal and high quality tour.
