We just returned from a weekend getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and hands down, one of the unexpected highlights was the Eureka Rocket Ghost Tour. If you're looking for an authentic, intimate, and truly fascinating experience — this is it.
What sets this tour apart is its blend of quirky charm, local history, and eerie folklore, all delivered in a relaxed and personal way. The tour is conducted on a large, open-air golf cart, which was perfect for cruising through the narrow, winding streets of Eureka Springs. This setup allowed us to get up close to many historic buildings and spring entrances that we would’ve missed on foot.
The guide (whose personal connection to the town is clearly deep-rooted) was fantastic — warm, knowledgeable, and full of incredible stories that stretched across centuries. This isn’t your typical jump-scare ghost tour. Instead, it felt more like a casual ride with a friend who just happens to know all the town’s strange, spooky, and downright bizarre history.

Had planned on doing this tour, but our weekend was extremely hot and my husband was not feeling well. I called and David understood the situation. I’ve had friends take this tour and they are the ones that said this is a must do. My next trip it will be, now for more than just my friends recommendation. Look forward to my next trip and the Rocket ride will be the first one I do!!
