What to expect
Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno
We propose a different tour through an emblematic place in the city that hides an important part of our history. We are going to talk about the origins of Peronism, the life of Eva Perón, her relationship with intellectuals and debate like every Argentine, with a mate in hand. We propose a pleasant and simple meeting in the place where hate and love for the Peronist movement converge, which is where the National Library is located today. The tour consists of four points where we visit monuments (Evita, Perón, Borges and Cortázar), emblematic places and we end in a very special themed bar, where those who want can continue the debate and taste popular dishes.
Plaza Evita, located in the upscale Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, is a park and monument dedicated to Eva Perón, Argentina's beloved and controversial first lady. The plaza offers a green space for relaxation and reflection, while also serving as a tribute to Evita's enduring legacy.
The Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno, Argentina's largest library, is a striking example of brutalist architecture in Buenos Aires' Recoleta neighborhood. Housing millions of books and historical documents, it's a haven for researchers and those seeking a glimpse into Argentina's cultural heritage.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
