What to expect
Corticarte - Arte em Cortica
Cortiçarte – Arte em Cortiça was founded in 2000 and emerged from a vast heritage of its predecessors in the area of working cork and from the know-how acquired over several years of experience. It positions itself in the market as a competitive and innovative company, with the ability to make cork viable and promote, and whose pillars are based on the quality and sustainability of this important raw material. The company is present throughout the entire process, from the extraction of cork from the tree and its treatment, transformation and production of the final product. In this last phase, the final product has infinite potential, being able to be transformed into the most unlikely objects, such as everyday, personal or sporting items, and has an inexhaustible capacity for innovation.
The Évora Walls are one of the city's delights and have the power to transport us in time immemorial. They are classified as a national monument since 1922 and are an integral part of the whole of the Historic Center of Évora UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Roman Temple of Évora, also referred to as the Temple of Diana (albeit wrongly, after Diana, the ancient Roman goddess of the moon, the hunt, and chastity) is an ancient temple in the Portuguese city of Évora (civil parish of Sé and São Pedro). The temple is part of the historical center of the city, which was included in the classification by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The Chapel of Bones is one of the best known monuments in Évora, Portugal. It is a small chapel located next to the entrance of the Church of St. Francis. The Chapel gets its name because the interior walls are covered and decorated with human skulls and bones.
