    If your intent is only to see Chichen Itza - do not take this trip. 1. You will spend approx 3 hours more on the road as the bus meanders from Cancun to Tulum to other places and picks up tourists. Another 40 minutes is wasted in a curio shop. 45 minutes in cenote swimming and 45 minutes in tequila tasting.
