    Gorgeous! Many different views throughout Acadia National Park. Peak season gets a lot of visitors. Until mid-afternoon, you can have a lot of difficulty finding parking in the park. Lots of traffic too.

    Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park are awesome and the folks who live and work there during "the season" know it and love to share! Road Scholar teams up with Coastal Kayaking to offer great hikes ( not too easy-not too hard- just right) fun, in depth talks about Maine, Bar Harbor, visonary "Mr. Dorr', the Lobstermen ) (women) and of course Acadia National Park. I had a blast. Kind, helpful, caring "guides" exude a vibe of "happiness" that is infectious. Yummy food-blueberry pie, overstuffed sammies, local ice cream galore! Shout out to Glenn Tucker ( Head of Coastal and a masterful storyteller) big props to Ellen, Alan and the "young kids" who 'babysat" us so wonderfully. So much to see, learn, do .....just go. I can't wait to return!
