Walking and food. My two favorite things. One can learn a lot about a city and its people by walking its streets and partaking in the cuisine. This tour checks both boxes. You’ll see all sides of Beirut. You’ll see the flashy, glitzy side, as you stroll amongst luxury brand store fronts. You’ll also experience, first hand, Beirut’s gritty underbelly as you venture down side streets and duck into long abandoned buildings, strewn with litter and adorned with colorful graffiti. Bring your appetite as well. I left stuffed, with food to take home. Refrain from eating before the tour, as you’ll dive right in with Lebanese coffee and breakfast. You’ll experience Lebanese treats at a sweets shop, followed by upscale snacks in downtown Beirut. Lastly, venture across town to a hole-in-the-wall shawarma joint for lunch. You know it’s going to be good when there’s a line of locals wrapped around the corner. You also know you’re in the right place when there isn’t another tourist in sight. Let’s eat! My guide, Hassane, treated me more as a long lost friend than a client. We talked history, religion, politics and everything in between. We smoked and joked as we wandered Beirut and took it all in. I great lady here name is Georgette Rouhana ask for her.I did private tour for 4 hours 200usd.The driver was great too! Mounaf Manssour it was hop on hop off out of car .let me tell you street food was great history of beirut is very colorful not boring 😉 try it u will be very happy wear good walking shoes .Georgette very attentive full of knowledge!! Have fun 👍
