An Eye-Opening and Memorable Experience This was a truly enriching experience. It gave us the chance to explore different favelas and gain real insight into daily life in these communities—beyond the usual clichés. Our guide, Beto, was fantastic: kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He gave us clear instructions on how to behave and made sure everything ran smoothly. His explanations were thoughtful and added depth to the experience. He also spoke both Spanish and English, which made communication easy when needed. One of the highlights was visiting a local home, where we were welcomed with genuine warmth. That moment of connection made a strong impression on us. A meaningful glimpse into another side of Rio—highly recommended!
