    I don't even know how to start this since we got to the island there was constant Nickel and diming of the day guests which was how I visited. They wanted to charge us $10 for Wi-Fi, which is free for people staying at the hotel. and then since it was raining hard during our visit and there was no point in staying for the rest of the day my family and I wanted to get on an earlier ferry unfortunately since we had missed the lunchtime ferry our only option was to wait for our original 5:00 pm ferry unless we were willing to pay a whopping $51 per person to switch to another boat company. So we were stranded on the island in the rain for the whole day which was ridiculous. It's a shame because the island itself was lovely i enjoyed the glass-bottom boat tour of the great barrier reef and the food was outstanding. It was the upcharge for wifi and the infrequent boat service that ruined it for me.

    On the 30th August around 10:30am session for half day. The water were very rocky and the driver knew this. He went really really fast like it was a speed boat. I had a massive breakfast at my hotel, I am pregnant. I felt so sick from the drivers driving I over heated & vormitted. They have motion sickness tablets which they mentioned and they did not offer anyone on the boat 30mins before to take it. They didn’t care all they said is there is vormit bags available. For the price we paid worse trip. Not a good white beach sand very rocky. I would recommend try green island. See how you go :)

    Not listed properly. Should be up as a boat ride to the island not a tour. Very expensive boat ride!

    In 2 words don’t bother and save your money there are plenty of other top places to snorkel . The brochures do not give a true indication of what to expect . Did not see 1 fish in the murky water. The staff at the hire place had zero customer service skills and were quite off hand to say the least . There is only one place to eat the menu is less than ordinary be prepared to queue and then wait and wait and wait . The rain came after lunch so most people were sitting undercover . A coffee and cake would have gone down well but the coffee machine closes at 2.00 pm and the ferry returns to cairns at 5.00 pm . There is a constant queue to the 3 toilets as they double up as change room as well . We tried to look on the bright side and remain positive but it was a wasted day when we could have been doing another trip . Tourists are spending hard earned money to get there I’m wondering where the money is being spent certainly not on improving the place to bring it up to a reasonable standard !

    The terminal and boat trip gives the day tripper a great impression and the provided buffet lunch was commendable but not overwhelming. The facitilities on the island were less than impressive. There is a resort of sorts on the island that is not open to day trippers and that is fine. However the rest of the facilities are less than impressive. A general store type deal with a very limited stock of drinks and Ice creams, milk and the like but it could do a lot more. The bar area stops serving coffee after 2:00pm and after that time only serves alcohol and even then they make you pay for your order before telling you they don't have any more of what you have already paid for, the place has so much potential but seemingly have no interest in being family friendly after 2:00pm. As I stated huge potential without the ambition to do even a halfway decent job. The Island is beautiful and the snorkeling was fantstic unfortunately it is let down by very poor management on the island. Bathroom facilities were almost third world dirty and unkept, there are no change rooms available to day trippers so come prepared.
