    Lee was a terrific guide, he made it a once in a lifetime experience. Our daughters enjoyed themselves, as did we. Lee knew a lot about nature and animals.

    We did the canyoning activity with pedro and it was amazing!! Pedro was so friendly and easy to communicate with, he patiently explained us everything and helped us choose the right activity for our family ( kids ages- 16,14,10). We ended up doing the more difficult canyoning trip and it was very adventurous and lots of fun. Pedro is very professional and gives a good sense of security- enough to calm down those among us who fear heights...super recommend, the area is beautiful, full of nature. At the end he recommend us where to eat in arouca- walked with us until we found available table since restaurants were full. A day to remember!!!!

After a brief explanation on how the activity will proceed, you will follow your guide across mountain roads to the River near Rio Frades Village, where you will receive every equipment that you will need. On arriving at the river, after a brief but important safety briefing you will adventure yourself on the Waterfalls that make this River so exciting! Along the way you will find times to relax, times to challenge yourself and times to have fun with your tour mates. Typical Lunch - Arouca Great Gastronomy! After the Tour, you'll delight yourself with the traditional "Arouquesa Roasted Veal", in a typical restaurant (included in the option "With Lunch"). For desert, you'll taste some of the ancient Conventual Pastry, next to it's origin, the Arouca's Santa Maria Monastery.
