What to expect
Angkor Wat
Our local Khmer tour guide and driver will collect guests in our minivan half an hour before we head out, so please be ready at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the tour. Before we go to Angkor Park, we will first stop for 15 minutes at the Angkor Ticket Office to allow everyone to purchase tickets to the park (not included in the tour price). Our first destination is Pre Rup, a stunning Angkor site. After that, we head to East Mebon, then to the beautiful overgrown temple of Ta Som, followed by the island shrine of Neak Pean. Next, we’ll visit Preah Khan, a temple built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. We end the day at Phnom Bakheng, where we hope to catch a spectacular temple-top sunset!
