What to expect
Miradouro da Vigia
Hello everyone, here we start our tour and the first stop is the Miradouro da Vigia. Here we hear a little about the history of the place where we can see the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle up on the mountain.
Here we arrive at our second stop, the famous Fonte da Sabuga. Here we stop to fill our bottle with some very fresh water and we also have a beautiful view of the Sintra National Palace which is great for taking a photo.
Palácio e Parque Biester
Here we are at the third stop, the beautiful Biester Family Palace, a German family. Here we see three buildings built by the family, the main one where they lived, the clock house where the family's helpers lived and also the house for visitors. We tell some interesting facts and also have a view of the Moorish Castle.
Here we are at the fourth stop, the famous Pena Palace. At this stop we go to a viewpoint where we see the Moorish castle and the Pena Palace almost at the same height, a perfect place for a beautiful photo. We also see the lakes in the Palace garden, but from the outside. A sample of the beautiful garden! We can leave the palace for a visit and then meet up to continue the tour (tickets not included)
And now we have reached our fifth stop, the most mystical monument in Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira! Here we make a quick stop to admire the beautiful palace. With its unique architecture, the monument is one of the most visited in the town. We can drop you off for a visit and then meet up to finish the tour (tickets not included).
Then, on to the sixth stop, the famous Palace of Love, Monserrate. Here we go to a place where we can see the monument from the outside and its beautiful domes with Arabic inspirations. We also go to a church where we have a beautiful view of the village, with some monuments in sight.
Praia das Azenhas do Mar
And here we arrive at the beach, our seventh stop is at Azenhas do Mar, known as the Greece of Portugal, with some white houses on the beach. A beach with a natural pool that is great for a dip if it is a sunny day.
Cabo da Roca
And here we come to the end of the tour, our eighth stop, the westernmost point of mainland Portugal, Cabo da Roca. Here we have a beautiful view of the ocean and also a house with a lighthouse. A great spot for a photo. I hope to see you soon for an unforgettable adventure.
