What to expect
At 8:00AM, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in luxor. You'll be comfortably transferred by private A/C vehicle to the west bank of Luxor, about 30 minutes. you will start your tour at the nobles valley where there are the private tombs of the nobles, high officials, generals of the army of ancient Egypt . There are about 400 tombs discovered by the Egygptian and foreign archaeologists. The walls of these private tombs are decorated with scenes related to the daily life activities of ancient Egypt about 1500 B.C.
Then you will do your visit in the mortuary temple of Ramses the second. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west of the River Nile, across from the modern city of Luxor. The name – or at least its French form Rhamesséion – was coined by Jean-François Champollion, who visited the ruins of the site in 1829 and first identified the hieroglyphs making up Ramesses's names and titles on the walls. It was originally called the House of millions of years of Usermaatra-setepenra that unites with Thebes-the-city in the domain of Amon. The design of Ramesses's mortuary temple adheres to the standard canons of New Kingdom temple architecture. Oriented northwest and southeast, the temple itself comprised two stone pylons (gateways, some 60 m wide), one after the other, each leading into a courtyard. Beyond the second courtyard, at the centre of the complex, was a covered 48-column hypostyle hall, surrounding the inner sanctuary.
Next, you'll explore the Temple of King Seti the first. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, across the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor (Thebes). The edifice is situated near the town of Qurna. The temple seems to have been constructed toward the end of the reign of Seti, and may have been completed by his son Ramesses the Great after his death. One of the chambers contains a shrine dedicated to Seti's father Ramesses I, who reigned a little under two years, and did not construct a mortuary temple for himself.
