Welcome to the TRINCOMALEE DIVING CENTRE, where you can embark on an incredible underwater adventure with our Fun Dives for Certified Divers. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and explore a variety of dive sites, including reefs, rocks, wrecks, and even night dives. Immerse yourself in a vibrant marine ecosystem boasting over 1,000 species, such as Eagle Rays, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Turtles, and Cuttlefish. With over 200 species of hard corals and breathtaking soft corals, this experience promises to be a visual extravaganza. Keep your eyes peeled for fascinating creatures like Baracuda, Trevally, Soldier Fish, and Surgeon Fish, among others. If you're lucky, you might even spot the occasional Whale Shark, Reef Shark, or Manta during the months of April to June.

What to expect?

Prepare for an unforgettable adventure as you embark on exhilarating dives. Take part in one Fun Dive, where you'll enjoy a boat ride to a single dive spot, or choose our two Fun Dives package for a boat ride to two different dive spots with a surface interval on the boat. We provide dive equipment, including BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins, and Wetsuit, but of course, you are welcome to bring your own. You'll also receive a tank, weights, and an experienced guide free of charge. Morning dives start at 9 am, while afternoon dives begin at 2 pm. Don't worry, we keep our diving groups small, with a maximum of five divers, ensuring a personal and enjoyable experience.

As you plan your Fun Dives, it's essential to keep a few things in mind. Please arrive at our Diving Centre at 8.30 am or 1.30 pm, depending on your chosen dive session, for registration. The duration of the dives will vary based on the number of dives and distance to the dive sites, but you can expect to return to the center between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm for morning dives, and between 3.30 pm and 5 pm for afternoon dives. Remember, you'll be diving in a small group of a maximum of five divers, ensuring personalized attention. Pigeon Island, one of the dive sites, requires an entrance fee of 15 Euros.
