    Rony was a fantastic guide. He promptly picked me up at my hotel early in the morning. I was on the bike ride solo and he always looked after to me to make sure I was doing good. He even took lots of pics and videos of me while riding. We started off by taking a local bus to the town where the Chato reserve was located. Did a short bike ride to the reserve. Saw the giant tortoises and lava caves at the Chato reserve. There are some hills that you will have to bike up, especially at the the reserve where there's a steep hill. So that can be physically challenging for some. But the ride back to town will be mostly downhill. Along the way you'll see farms and some cattle. You may even see a giant tortoise on the road. All in all, the tour with Rony was great and I would highly recommend it if you want to get some good exercise while seeing the turtles.

    I specifically chose this tour because the meetup was in Puerto Ayora and biking seemed fun. The guide was excellent. He took very good care of the group and gave us tons of recommendations for other tours and islands to visit. With that being said there wasn't much of a value add for this trip. We ended up taking the city bus up to the nearest town to El Chato then rode the bikes from there. When we got to El Chato el end up just joining another tour the ranch provides with all the information. Biking back was no fun. There are some big hills to get out of El Chato that I ended up having to walk almost all of them. I was never rushed but just physically couldn't do it and I consider myself average fitness in my 30s. When we finally got out of the hills to the flat land and even some downhill the bikes seemed positioned for competition. I had to strain my neck just to look straight ahead. It was never a nice cruise taking in all the sights. Don't be scared to do everything yourself. Get a taxi in town and go. Pay the tour fee when you get there. Plenty of taxis wait at the ranch so you'll have a ride back. I would do it this way if I could go back in time

    The trip started with a bus ride up the mountain , and then a short bike ride to the tortoise center, where we were able to see tortoises (and even caught two of them mating!) in their natural environment. We also got a tour of the lava caves. After the animals, we biked 22Km (almost all downhill) back to the city. It was a great way to start the morning, and incredible way to get to see so much of the island! I haven't ridden a bike in a few years, but was able to complete this tour easily, so don't be concerned about the physicality of it. Other things you see on the tour include cows, chickens, other farms/animals, beautiful trees and flowers, cute little towns on the way back to Puerto Ayora. Rony also took a bunch of photos of us biking and sent them afterwards via Whatsapp, which was really cool to have some shots from another perspective (especially as I have been solo traveling and mostly getting selfies of myself). Thank you Rony!

    The tour was fantastic, was able to see some beautiful sights and had lots of fun. The Tour guide Ronnie was brilliant and got some of the best photos of me and the tortoises. I would highly recommend this tour as a fun way to see some of the island and if you enjoy getting on a bike!
