Afurada is a place of river fishermen and sea fishermen who live side by side with the new marina and with a stunning view over the Douro estuary and the city of Porto.

The Lord of the Stone Chapel has been a place of religious worship for more than 7 centuries. Built by the Catholic Church and taking advantage of a former pagan place of worship, this co-structure was erected on the rocks right above the sea.
