    Tudor-clad Thomas suspensefully guided us around an after-dark Tudor World by lamplight. Our group of five had a ball. Macabre legends of goings on in the old barn complex, combined with creepy shadows on wax figures’ faces, played on our imaginations and elicited delicious shrieks. Thomas gave us about two dozen jump-scares, so be warned if that’s not your thing. We had a fantastic time.

    Really enjoyed the ghost tour. Our guide was great she had a ghostly appearance and told the stories of the dead well sharing all the grim details with us. She looked like someone who had previously passed and returned to tell the tales. We loved it thank you.

    This was a great experience and very atmospheric. Winifred our guide was superb, just the right amount of comedy injected into a perfect pitch telling g you about the history of the place and its spooky happenings. You have to go back in the day to see what it looks like and I’m sure this will be a different experience again. But the lantern tour is done in the dark and I found it a wonderful experience Thanks so much for a great time Ps lost my bank card out of my pocket this evening and I only went here and as Winifred said some of the ghosts do have a rep for this sort of thing so I might have unwillingly been more immersed than I realised 👀

    Mary who took the tour was amazing alot of detail eventhough it's advertised for adults it's more family friendly it's more fun than serious
