Sanap Cliffs
With an impressive 150 metre height, Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs are the tallest cliffs in Gozo. The area surrounding the promontory is a Natura 2000 site, full of protected biodiversity that marvels its visitors. Naturalists will be excited to hear that the area is dotted by garrigues and steeps ready to be explored. Additionally, the cliffs are an important Bird Area, home to many shearwaters. To familiarise yourself with the area, you can go on a walk around the cliffs of Sannat, and admire the different geological layers of the cliffs. Besides the breathtaking views, visitors can look for archaeological remains of megalithic temples and cart ruts too!
Xlendi Bay is a picturesque and popular seaside destination known for its dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and quaint charm. Originally a tiny fishing village, Xlendi has evolved into a bustling small resort that attracts both tourists and locals throughout the year.
Two 16th century well-preserved public washhouses built by the Knights of St John may be seen on either side of Spring Street in the village of Fontana. The larger one is locally known as the Ghajn il-Kbira meaning the ‘large spring’. The smaller one is Ghajn Bendu, ‘Bendu’s Spring’.
Dwejra Bay
Have you ever heard of a stunning place called Dwejra? Well, if you haven’t, you’re in luck! Fungus Rock
Fungus Rock, sometimes known as Mushroom Rock, and among the Maltese as Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral, is a small islet in the form of a 60-metre-high massive lump of limestone at the entrance to an almost circular black lagoon in Dwejra, on the coast of Gozo, itself an island in the Maltese archipelago.
The Inland Sea, sometimes called Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater on the island of Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch.

Discover the centuries-old salt pans, a testament to time's enduring allure on the picturesque Island of Gozo. As you stand amidst these enchanting landscapes, envision terraced fields stretching to the horizon, adorned with a mesmerising mosaic of glistening white salt crystals. Imagine the island's earliest inhabitants crafting these ancient salt pans, visionaries driven by a deep respect for their land. They ingeniously harnessed Gozo's natural salt flats, capturing the essence of evaporating seawater in its tranquil bays. These famous Gozo salt pans, born from human resourcefulness, have aged gracefully, their narrative deepening each year.
