Apartheid museum, illustrating apartheid and the 20th-century history of South Africa. The museum part of the Gold reef city complex was open in 2001. when we leave the museum we visit Soccer city stadium popular for Fifa world cup games in 2010.
Orlando Power station is a decommissioned coal-fired power station in Soweto, The power station was commissioned at the end of the second world war and served Johannesburg for over 50years. Now home of adventures, bungee jumping , straightjacket bungee, paintball, scad freefall and rock climbing.
Hector Pietorson museum is a large museum located in Orlando West, Soweto two blocks away from where Hector Pieterson was shot and killed 16 June 1976.
Nelson Mandela National museum,commonly referred to as Mandela House, is the house on Vilakazi street, Orlando west, Soweto, where Nelson Mandela lived from 1946 to 1962. Vilakazi street is also popular for hosting 2 Noble peace winners Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.
Walter Sisulu Square in the heart of Kliptown, Soweto is South Africa's first township entertainment explosion centre, the very first of its kind in South Africa. Formaly known as Walter Sisulu Square of Dedication. near the square they is a community center in the Kliptown are where visitors can walk interact with locals also visit a community project.
The brewery is located in the historical and emotional center of Johannesburg, in Orlando West. A mere stone throw from the world famous Vilakazi street with its busy taverns and Hector Pieteson Memorial. Soweto Brewing company, founded in 2012, was created with the vision of bringing the success of local brewing into a township environmenment; to create a world class beer that is truly Sowetan. The Brewery plant is built on state-of-the art German brewing technology and manufactured by the largest internationally acclaimed in China.
