    You should know that this is not a tour - it’s a driver who simply takes you to and from point a, b, c, etc. We had a nice day overall - but our driver barely spoke English, which made the day challenging. We had no context about the island or the stops. When we were dropped off at each stop, we had no context about the place, what to do when we went inside, how much time we had, etc. Some of this slowed things down as we had to figure it out for ourselves. We also ran out of time and did not get to go to the winery (the place we really wanted to go) or get ice cream at the chocolate stop*. Very disappointing 😢 Need this to be >4 hours or better manage the time. Given the language barrier, lack of context/info, and poor time management, I’d recommend renting a car for the day and doing this yourself. All stops we went to were along 1 road, so it’s easy to navigate. Couple notes: - There’s no opportunity to sample items (eg, cheese) before you buy. However some places allow you to buy a flight/sampler. - There are actual bathrooms at the cassis spot, but the line can be long. The cider shop and the fromaggerie both had porta potties. Not sure about the winery or chocolate shop. *The chocolate shop was our last stop and we did get chocolates, but the line for ice cream was 30+ minutes. After 10 minutes, we realized we wouldn’t be able to get ice cream and leave at the time we were told we needed to leave (it was our last stop and we were told we had a “hard out”). We saw the driver standing outside waiting, so we left the line to meet him. The driver then called someone and told us we could stay, but at that point the line was even longer. After 10 min, it hadn’t moved so we left as we didn’t want to stand in line waiting another 30-45 minutes.

    Personable and personalized service - our driver was more than happy to adjust the tour to visit a location that wasn't on the usual itinerary, and to drop or adjust the time at others. Courteous, attentive, and good conversation! I truly appreciated this self-guided approach, allowing us to set the pace and format, then sit back and let a professional driver make sure we made it safely between our destinations - highly recommended. I think there may be an opportunity to offer a more expansive itinerary (at higher cost) for people who might be interested in a longer day - I know that we would have upgraded.

    Today's self-guided agritour of Ile d'Orleans was exceptional. Our kind and attentive driver worked with us to customize the journey, taking us to Maison de Thé for tea and scones, Isle de Bacchus winery for tastings and charcuterie (beautiful setting great wines and well chosen charcuterie - do not skip this), Cassis Monna & Filles currant farm for cocktails and ice cream, and finally to Choclaterie Ile d'Orleans for second dessert. It was so worthwhile being able to travel in a luxurious air conditioned car, allowing both of us to drink, and with pick up and drop off right in front of the venues - some of the parking lots were full!

    My 20-year-old son and I took this private tour. This was a great excursion! The communication with the tour operator could not have been better from start to finish. Our guide, Naima arrived at our hotel right on time. Although there are five stops on the tour, we were really only interested in three of them and she was kind enough to flex the itinerary for us. In addition to the cider, cheese and ice cream stops (ice cream stop is a must!), She took us to a roadside fruit stand where we enjoyed fresh strawberries, and another stand where we bought locally made maple syrup to take home as gifts. With the remaining time we were able to do some sightseeing that would not otherwise have been possible. Naima was knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. This was a nice break From all of the walking, we have been doing in and around old Quebec. Unlike one other review I read, we did not feel rushed at all. The drive from Quebec was about 20 minutes each way, and we had more than enough time at each of our stops. I would definitely recommend this excursion!
