    This was one of the best tours ever. Our Guide was very informative and took us first through the small museum in the town. He answered all our questions and was just a genuinely nice person. We went to the local studio of Pantaleon Ruiz where he explained the entire process of weaving from cleaning and spinning the wool to designing the really beautiful rugs. The art and textiles displayed were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We visited the cultural exhibits which mostly centered on the marriage traditions and then visited a family where they make the extraordinary candles that are part of the tradition. It was a delightful day. The only issue was that we had to find our own transportation from Oaxaca and it took some time to find a taxi who would do it.
