    We made our own beautiful rings! An experience never to be forgotten. Richard guided us step by step, with many options and in a calm manner in choosing what kind of ring we really wanted to make, the stamps we wanted to put on the inside, to hammering our own jewel. And now I wear a ring that is truly mine and feels good. What a wonderful experience!

    Can’t recommend this enough, Richard was a brilliant teacher, we had a great time and left with gorgeous rings. Our friends can’t believe we made them ourselves. Don't worry that it’s too hard or that you won’t love the rings. The process is really simple and Richard guides you through every step. The workshop is full of tools to allow you to choose styles and finishes to make a truly bespoke piece of jewellery. The workshop is a fantastic and quirky space in a beautiful historic building, We met some lovely people doing the class with us too. We will definitely be doing it again ❤️

    Silversmithing with Richard was a lot of fun! He was super patient and explained well, and let you do and choose everything yourself. Me and my best friend had a great morning and got to bring beautiful rings home! 10/10 recommend

You take part in every step, from designing to hammering, shaping, & adding finishing touches for a unique ring made entirely by you. What to Expect: 1. Design Your Ring: Start by choosing the shape & style, exploring different options to make it uniquely yours. 2. Size and Cut: Decide which finger the ring is for, then measure & cut your silver to fit. 3. Add a Personal Touch: Choose hand stamps to inscribe a custom message—like a name, date, or even a favorite phrase—on the inside of the ring. 4. Form the Ring: Use mallets & a triblet to roughly shape your ring. 5. Soldering: I’ll demonstrate how to heat & solder the silver, joining the ends to create the ring. 6. Check Fit and Finalize Shape: We’ll ensure a comfortable fit & refine it into a perfect shape. 7. Textures and Markings: Add personalized textures or markings to make the ring truly yours. 8. Choose Your Finish: Complete your ring with a polished, satin, or rough forged look to suit your style.
