    We loved this tour - Our guide Mai was just fantastic. She took us into tiny local restaurants that we would not have ventured into on our own and as a result we got to try some amazing food! Believe me - you'll be full by the end of this corner, especially with a stop on "beer corner"! We got to see some interesting sites as well, including the bars along the Hanoi railway line (you have to see it to believe it!) Recommended.

    Explored the old part of Hanoi and tasted traditional food. Watched preparation. Enjoyed explanation of cooking. Absolutely tasty. This private tour was led by Ti Do Van Huan and was exceptional value and most interesting. Ti even helped us cross any busy streets and walk down narrow laneways. Ti's English is very good, most trustworthy and only deals with reliable vendors. Highly recommended.

    We had a fantastic evening walking the streets of Hanoi with our tour guide Huien (hope that's spelled right). He explained everything we were eating and drinking to us along with the history of how this came to be a popular vietnamese dish. It was highly educational and gave us more confidence to choose what to eat for the rest of our trip in Vietnam. Definitely recommend!

    Our guide, Dat, was fab! We definitely hit a bunch of the “best of” restaurants found online, but also had bbq chicken feet and wings, fried bread, and spring rolls from street vendors that won’t be on any list and were delicious (and safe/checked out by Buffalo Tours in advance). The dessert was even amazing. I left totally satisfied but not overly full and feel like I had an authentic Hanoi food experience! We got lucky and didn’t have anyone else join our group tour, which was fun, too.

    We did this tour the night we arrived in Hanoi (and Vietnam for the first time). Our guide for the evening, Dat, ensured we had a great night, introducing us to some of the street food we had been hearing about. Including a huge bowl of Pho that we still talk about! There was a lot to take in and Dat made sure we learned how to negotiate the streets safely and some of the specialities to look out for. He was great company and we had a lot of laughs. Totally recommend.
