when we booked we were given 13.00 to be collected that then changed to 08.15 which was another early start as we had to get up at 2.45am on the 22/12/22 for our flight and another early start for our tasters around 8am if i remember rightly ,Christmas day was early off course as our grandchildren aged 6 and 2 wanted to see if santa had been lol and then on Boxing day we were up at 4.45am as breakfast was at 5.30 for a 6.15 coach back to the airport. This is by no means a negative we loved it.

A lovely trip to do and worked really well as part of the overall TUI Lapland programme. Reindeer ride on the frozen lake followed by hot juice, gingerbread and a session with an incredibly informed (and lovely) guide who talked to us about reindeer, the Sami people, some of the history and a reindeer vs husky sledding comparison. Fantastic trip - highly recommend.

Brilliant sleigh ride, followed by some warm berry juice and biscuits. We got Knowledge about the locals, their history and reindeer facts. After, we fed the reindeer which we all enjoyed. It was -22’c the day we went and the sleigh ride did make you very cold, even with extra layers and the blanket. We took some hand warmers but they didn’t help much! Price is quite high but everything costs more in Finland. Overall for that Christmas experience I would highly recommend.
