Calea Victoriei

The backbone of historical Bucharest, Victoriei Avenue crosses the Old Town going north to the Atheneum and the former Royal Palace. The most beautiful monuments of the city are located on this major street and you'll see most of them during this private tour. The Constitution Square, a large ensemble of buildings done during the last communist decade, is a must-see for history enthusiasts. Mihai Voda Monastery

One of the oldest monuments in Bucharest, this monastery survives only partially in its original structure after being moved, in 1985, from its original location to be saved from communist demolitions.

The second largest administrative building in the world, the Parliament, or the House of the People, is the masterpiece of megalomaniac dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. A monument that compares to nothing else in the world. A valid passport is required for access at the Parliament. The visiting schedule can suffer changes in case of important events hosted by the Parliament.
