    The cozy tour of Beppu was easygoing and fantastic. Our guide, Shin, was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and patient. We were able to stroll around the city, experience some of the Hells, have a traditional lunch, and enjoy a private onsen. Great cozy, relaxing tour!

    Thank you Shin-san for such a wonderful private tour in Beppu and Oita! Shin went out of his way to personalize the tour, making my journey in this part of Japan special. We started with the "Hells" of Beppu, and he shared his detailed knowledge of the hot springs and their cultural significance in a captivating manner. He made sure to learn my interests and take me "off the beaten path" to help me discover parts of Beppu and Oita that I never would have found on my own. At one stop on the tour I even caught a glimpse of how he approaches teaching music, and I can say with confidence that if you decide to take his guitar or hand pan instruction you will find that he is a capable and understanding teacher who will personalize your lessons. Indeed, both as a tour guide and as a music instructor, Shin-san will meet you where you are in your journey.
