Trevon and Brittany were terrific-friendly, knowledgable, efficient. The ride itself was really fun and the views and wildlife were amazing. Great for kids, too. My 8-year old daughter and I both enjoyed it immensely.

We want to do something different that wasn't overly expensive (like helicopter and plane tours of glaciers) so we opted for this hovercraft tour. I had never been on a hovercraft and though I am disabled (I walk with 2 forearm canes and sort leg braces) the crew helped me on and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The guides gave great info about the hovercraft; how it works, etc and then we took a trip to a small deserted island. The hovercraft can easily maneuver onto a beach and we all got out and explored our immediate area. One of the crew had a bucket of fish and threw the fish parts into the water. Immediately several beautiful bald eagles appeared and dove head first for the fish! It was amazing to see and just the type of unique experience I was hoping for. Since there were only 6 or 7 of us on this tour, we had plenty of room on the hovercraft and we received individual attention from the staff. Great experience, great value and highly recommended.

A lot of fun. About 90 minutes zipping around the islands/ harbor with a stop at one to see wildlife up close. Lots of eagles which was cool. Some time to wander around a bit. Got to see some harbor seals lounging about as well. Captain stopped the boat so we could all grab photos. He and the whole crew were Uber nice and friendly. Be prepared for inclement weather. Or hope for a sunny day! Worth it either way

We were escorted from the cruise ship to the dock where the hovercraft were located. The hovercraft itself is just another boat on water but can take you on land as well. It was a unique experience. The college age girl was our host, and she was a joy to listen to as she explained the workings of the craft and the unique things and history of the area. After a short ride to the beach, we landed and got to exit the craft and walk on the beach. We found shells, sea glass, drift wood, uprooted trees, and a sea cucumber. The eagles are many in the area. They even brought frozen herring to throw in the water to see the eagles swoop down and grab the fish. The trip lasted a little over an hour. No restrooms are on the craft. The seating in the craft is like cushion bench seats. I recommend sitting in the back, facing forward. The trip is well worth the time and price.

Highly recommend the hovercraft tour. Trevon Brittany and Matt provided awesome service and a fun time. It’s a rare opportunity for civilians to ride on a hovercraft. I don’t know of any other chance, but this tour.. brittney was truly the eagle whisperer for us as we got to see them eat and fly around the hovercraft. 👍👍

The hovercraft was definitely a unique way to see the bay and wildlife. Knowledgeable friendly staff, the halfway mark was a gorgeous stop. Great times and photo ops.

Flew in hovercraft with Captain Kirk and Britany. Rode right seat in the front. My job to look for spouts. Saw a few and what spread to be a hump in the distance. The eagles accommodated us when Britany tossed fish on the water for spectacular view of these magnificent creatures as they plunged to the surface and snatched the fish barely pausing. We flew onto a private beach where Eagles swooped and allowed photos before soaring up into the trees. The ride was so smooth and every question plus local history shared by Britany. Wonderful.

I expected the hovercraft to zoom around the ocean but all we did was go about 20 mph at top speed. We were taken to an island where there was nothing to see. The highlight was when they stopped and threw out fish to attack big birds for us to see. Totally overpriced for what you get. The tour guide was nice but that doesn’t make up for a dull tour.

This trip was so much fun! Small group on the craft gave it a laid back feel, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The ride was smooth and unique. We packed a lot into a short amount of time - we saw harbor seals at their rocky hangout where other boats can’t go. Eagles perched in a nearby tree. We pulled right up onto a sandy beach and watched as eagles swooped down and caught fish right in front of us! The beach was beautiful and secluded, and perfect for observing tiny crabs, snails, and other sea life. There was plenty of time after the tour for hanging out in town or getting back to the ship. Totally worth it!!

Early May, not much wildlife out but still an incredible tour. I get motion sick easily and the hovercraft was fine for me today. Only reason for 4 stars instead of five is the email said "come hungry" and there was no food on the tour at any point. We had a light breakfast and I was ready for food. A small detail but I would have definitely had a larger breakfast and not been hungry during the tour. We headed straight for 108 Taphouse after the tour was done and are very excited for burgers here. Crew was great, we learned a lot about Alaska and the wildlife, would definitely recommend the tour, just eat first!
