What to expect
Ipoh Railway Station
It is the Taj Mahal if Ipoh by its local. This British colonialism building was built by Arthur Benison Hubback and officially operated as railways in 1917. Majestic Hotel also was located in this building. The Ipoh station was used as a shooting location for the film ‘Anna and the King’ in 1999.
Concubine Ln
Where there are more than 20 two-storey houses, all of which are 100 years old. The two rows of ancient buildings retain the old appearance of the British colonial era, with their faded wood-framed window broken and the exterior walls full of Nanyang sentiments. There is a rich and varied choice of cuisine, and the alley is full of food carts and open-air hawkers’ stalls where you can taste the famous bean sprout chicken, white coffee, and Tau Fu Far.
Is a hidden gem between the two famous cave temples of Sam Poh Tong and Kek Lok Tong. It’s also known as “Serene Hill”, simple and isolated town where you can experience tranquility. Here tourist can experience various activities that cab do such as ride a bicycle, feed the fish, barbecue and others. Almost 8 difference attraction located in here which is God of Fortune and Wish tree, Classic Vintage Items, 3D Replica, Cultural Village, Romantic Chalets and natural glory landscape.
Explore caves with centuries of history, temples built inside limestone caves, and a beautiful and serene Zen garden on the other side of the temple. Kek Lok Tong Cave’s means Cave of Ultimate Bliss or Great Happiness. Located on the reverse side of Gunung Rapat (Rapat Mt.). The cave has been used as a place of worship since the 1920's but during the 1960's the area was engaged in iron ore mining and parts of the cave were excavated for this activity. When mining ceased it was dedicated again to religious purposes and opened to visitors in the 1970s. The floor of the cave has been leveled and paved and much of the lower walls are lined with marble tiles. The roof and upper walls however remain in their natural state with some impressive stalactite formations.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
