    We had a such a nice time and our host was so kind, patient and helpful. This is a great way to get out of the sun or rain for a couple of hours and we enjoyed every minute of it. We get to take home a souvenir wooden sake box that we wrote our choice of calligraphy on. And we have so many papers to take home with our practice calligraphy on it. Maybe we will frame our best one! Great little neighborhood with restaurants.

    The teacher is experienced and knows how to get a lot from her pupils. I thoroughly enjoyed learning calligraphy. The experience was interesting. This takes place in a restaurant in it's off hours. If it seems a little quiet you're probably in the right spot.

    It was my first experience to learn calligraphy was fan time. And also she was really nice. She taught us how to write kanji and my name in Japanese. I definitely recommend that to you guys!!
