Kandy City Tour

This is the first site you will see once your specialized driver / guide picks you up from the pickup location. Peradeniya Botanic Gardens is located in the city of Peradeniya. After getting tickets from the counter, you can visit and explore this garden. During your exploration, you can see the flower arch garden, which includes a variety of flower pants. On the way you can visit Herbal Garden that you can get the experience of local Herbal plants. There are many green botanical trees that are home to bats and birds. Main while you can see the Ocid flower and plant and side of Mahaweli river that is shaded by bumbu trees. When we leave the garden, this is the second site we'll see, located halfway between Kandy and Paradaniya. You can visit this site without purchasing a gate ticket and observe the Soldier Cemetery, which was built to honor the soldiers who passed away during World War I. After leaving the Cemetery, we continue to the next destination on our tour itinerary. Bahiravokanda vihara Buddha statue is 88 feet tall and placed on the Bahiravokanda mountain, which is 20 minutes away from War Cemetery. After leaving Kandy Market Hall, we must take a Tuk- Tuk up the hill to reach the Kandy viewpoint. Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. A little island in the middle of the lake can be reached by boat.
