    I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was incredibly informative and helpful, and Noravank is an absolute must-see. A big thanks to our driver as well for his patience and for ensuring a safe journey throughout the day.

    I really enjoyed my day out with tour guide Hasmik and driver I believe he’s Igor (?). Hasmik was very patient and friendly. Explaining many history meaning and stories behind the sites that we visited. She was very kind and young and she got sense of responsibility and passion. Igor drove very carefully and smooth that I don’t feel at all uncomfortable in his mini bus. Over all I really glad I booked the right company and it set a standard for my next guide tour with one way tour to Sevan.

    I’ve done 3 tours with this company and all 3 were very lovely. Yagur was my guide and he was very good- good explanations and good with keeping the time. There was enough time for pictures and viewing at each stop. Nice mix of monasteries and nature just like the other tours. I don’t drink but I tasted the fruity ones and they were interesting, the tour of the winery was nice as well and I enjoyed learning about their process. Wear good shoes if you want to climb the waterfall for good pics. Otherwise you can stay on the bridge and your pics will also be just fine without climbing and non slip shoes. There were toddlers on our bus and one was quite colicky, crying quite a bit. That was disturbing at times. I’m not sure if this a trip for small children as Drive times between stops are 30-60 minutes and the drive back is 90 min and the bus is tight. I won’t blame the company as it’s not their fault the child was crying and whining, however, it is something to keep in mind for other guests. Overall, the tour itself is quite enjoyable! Recommended! I’m glad I booked!

    One Way Tour has wonderful guides. I have traveled with them in the past, too, and they all are very knowledgeable. Especially, I like when they are bringing examples from folklore and mythology regarding that specific area, church, or monument.

    Many people know that Armenia is the first Christian country in the world. It was officially accepted in 301 when Grigor was released from the capital's prison, which was here before. He was imprisoned here for 13 years for his Christian faith. Being the last hope of the sick king, he cured him, after which the king accepted Christianity as the state religion. At the same time, the best view of Mount Ararat opens from here. Being very close to Ararat gives you the opportunity to see the entire structure of the mountain and admire its beauty.

    Noravank Monastery

    Medieval Armenian taste and architectural talent were interblended in Noravank, founded in the 9th century, this monastery developed in the 13th and 14th centuries. Surrounded by high red-coloured mountains and built from stones taken from those rocks, Noravank harmoniously complements the local landscape, remaining unique in its kind.

    Jermuk

    Arriving in Jermuk, we go to see the waterfall. The 68-70 meter high "Mermaid's Braids" waterfall tells us the legend of a forbidden love. According to this legend, a prince curses his daughter for meeting her lover, and then she turns into stone. Her hair still flows in the form of water, which is why the waterfall gets the name "Mermaid's Braids."

    At the end of the tour, we visit the center of winemaking in the village of Areni, where we are hosted by the Areni Wine Factory.
