    Booking the Kingston cruise online was a breeze, but I missed the priority booking option until I arrived and saw two lines. They should definitely have someone there 30 minutes early to direct traffic and answer questions. Once aboard, we found some cozy seats on the upper deck, but they were limited. The entire cruise was incredibly relaxing, and the commentator was crystal clear and super knowledgeable. I’d recommend bringing a light sweater, even on a hot day, because it can get pretty windy. Overall, I’d definitely do it again!

    Uninformative cruise where I learnt nothing that wasn't included in the sales blurb. They seem to be far more interested in selling popcorn and drinks. Wish we hadn't wasted our time

    Out of all those ships this one is the worst. Not much to see. Really dirty carpet with food particles still on from last group. Speakers blaring laud info the entire 90 min to the point of insanity. I hope maybe one day they will have an app that you can connect and listen by choice instead of being forced to. They could of play some soft music instead. They were screaming kids and large group of families that weren't interested in scenic views (just water no islands). They were having some sort of party. The long story short it was horrid because the noise, dirt and nothing to see. The 3 hr cruise is better, Takes different route and has lots of islands and more...

    We thought we knew what we were getting into. The brochure was clear on what to expect. The Discovery Tour lasts 90 minutes and is meant to cover the mouth of the Saint Lawrence entering Lake Ontario. The pamphlet clearly says it is a historic tour so I was expecting an interesting fact-filled leisurely boat ride. We were amongst the last to board and ended below the top deck in the enclosed part of the boat. We could not hear a single word of the recorded tour. Nothing. The sound system is terrible. About 3/4 way through, I went up to the top deck to use the washroom and found that the sound was much better there. When I take the trouble to write a review, the purpose is to communicate to the owners/managers that they need to fix their attraction. So, Mr/Mrs Kingston Discovery Sightseeing Cruise, you need to fix your sound system. It is terrible and I regret spending the 90 minutes I did on your tour.

    You do only see 3 islands or so. It's a nice way to see the shoreline of Kingston. However overall we were not impressed. Unfortunately, the audiotape (which for us is super important, as we love leaning new facts) was a let down. We were seated at the back of the boat and it seemed the speakers were not working at the back, so we could not hear very well. When we moved to the front of the boat, we could hear but then were blasted with wind. During the audiotape breaks, when the real life guide would speak on the microphone, it was so loud for our ears, we found ourselves running back to where we stated. It was either too quiet or too loud. Even downstairs inside, the speakers were not loud enough to be clearly heard clear over the chatter of the other people there. I felt like I was just running around the boat for 90 minutes trying to find spots where I was comfortable and could hear, and I ended up missing a lot of the audio:( I can't say I would recommend this tour.
