What to expect
At Nihonbashi Mutoh Main Store, you can experience traditional Japanese arts such as Kintsugi, Maki-e, and Gold Leaf Pasting. In the Kintsugi workshop, learn the technique of repairing broken pottery with gold, using exquisite Arita ware, renowned for its 400-year history. Maki-e offers a chance to create beautiful designs with lacquer and gold or silver powder. Gold Leaf Pasting lets you apply gold leaf from Kanazawa to your choice of tableware or chopsticks. These hands-on experiences allow you to create unique masterpieces and take home a memorable souvenir from Japan.
