What to expect
At Nihonbashi Mutoh Main Store, you can experience traditional Japanese arts such as Kintsugi, Maki-e, and Gold Leaf Pasting. In the Kintsugi workshop, learn the technique of repairing broken pottery with gold, using exquisite Arita ware, renowned for its 400-year history. Maki-e offers a chance to create beautiful designs with lacquer and gold or silver powder. Gold Leaf Pasting lets you apply gold leaf from Kanazawa to your choice of tableware or chopsticks.
