    Please read my review before you book! This is not a private tour. We met our guide on Xmas Day, and rearranged our schedule to accommodate her need for a later time. We met in front of the tourist office and she told us we needed to buy boat tickets to the public boat tour (that already operates with a guide)! Then, when we went to purchase the tickets, the boat was sold out! We couldn’t go. I truly do not understand how this company can sell this as a private tour and not let you know the boat might be sold out even if you prepay for the tour! I asked about the optional hike /walk that is in the tour description; the guide responded that there was no walk/hike! We spent in total 10 minutes with the guide before leaving. When I asked for a refund, the company only wanted to grant me a partial refund! Not acceptable! We travel frequently and have never had an experience like this! On a side note:..: we went back the next day, bought tickets(66E total for three adults), went on the boat and listened to the boat guide! There is no need for this “private” (not private) tour. Save your money!

    Königsee is one of the most beautiful spots in Europe. Our guide was Marianne Lenz and she was extremely pleasant, very knowledgeable not only about the tour but also about the history of the region. We truly enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend Marianne for any tours in the Berchtesgaden area.

    This tour was outstanding! Claudio was prompt, extremely well informed, and very easy to be with. He shared a terrific review of the history of Konigsee and the area surrounding the Berchtesgarten national forest. We traveled with our three year old, and he was patient and engaging with her, as well.

    People should know the description tries to hide some important facts. The first is that this "tour" does NOT include the cost of the boat ride. The guide provided a 2 euro discount per person but that is very small discount. Secondly, if you are English speaking, everything that is announced by the boat co captain during the boat ride to St Bartholomew is in german and your hired guide through this "tour" will be silent, so that time you paid for is completely worthless. And lastly, unlike what is described, your hired guide will not accompany you beyond st Bartholomew. I think people should know that this tour is described as 2 hours when it was only 1 and a half hours. I feel like this was a very expensive and we were misled. When I noticed that the description mentioned that "entrance fee" was not imcluded.i tried twice to contact viator customer service to gain clarification and I was not successful. Terrible waste so I would strongly urge against buying this "tour". I hope this review is provided here. If it isnt i will make sure it appears somewhere else because people need to know.

    Kim was a fantastic tour guide! She was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about every place we visited like akagera national park,Nyungwe national forest etc . She made the tour fun and memorable. I would happily tour with her again. Great experience with Kim! She is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended tour guide.
