We had a great day exploring Medan with Lian, could not recommend this more highly. He was very informative, car was clean and the driver was outstanding, and he never used the horn once! If you have a day spare in Medan take this trip, there is so more to this city than appears to be.

very bad place in Indonesia and the people in this town are very unfriendly talking. When you go to vacation, you see many road to much hole and wreack like nobody care. You go everywhere always pay the parking just buy a drink in a grocery in 3 minutes. this town is terible city, very bad city, because to much criminal and many local guide keep far away to go Jakarta or Bandung and never come back again. you must know the food is good, but you not to like the people. For my assumtion, never trip to vacation in this city. This is like Indian Mumbai filthy, gross, slum city in the country.
