    Alan & Emilio were great instructors and very patient with my first time surfer kids. They were discouraged at first and didn't want to continue, but by the end they didn't want it to end. It was a memorable experience! 100% recommend Alan and Emilio!

    Luis is an amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly surf guide and instructor. He took me to a place called “The Rock”. The water temperature was perfect, no wetsuit required. The waves were gentle 1-3 ft (3-5 ft face) rights, great for a novice like me. I highly recommend Luis and High Tide!

    We had a great time! Hugo was our instructor. He picked us up from our hotel and told us about the area and some things about what would be going on during surfing lessons. He then was super patient and explained on shore and then came out with us in the ocean. I’ve never surfed before, but by following his directions I got up many times! The whole experience was great and well worth it. We’ll be doing it again the next time we’re here.

      To join the lesson as an observer you have to book a non-surfer/companion spot on our transport. The non-surfer/companion fee includes round trip transportation, shaded camp (umbrellas and chairs), bottled water and snacks. You’ll be able to enjoy the beach at our camp while observing the surf lesson. To book, simply select “observer (non-surfer)”.
