What to expect
The day will start with a visit to the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery and Memorial, the burial place of the US soldiers who died in the battle of the bulge. General Patton, who died shortly after the war, was also buried there at his request.
Ettelbruck
Then the driver/guide will bring you to the General Patton Memorial and the Museum in Ettelbruck, the city Patton's Third Army liberated on Christmas Day in 1944. The museum is a trove of historical exhibits and objects related to the battle and to Patton’s life.
Wiltz
Further north you will then visit the « Schumanseck Remembrance Trail ». This trail leads in the footsteps of a decisive encounter during the Battle of the Bulge.
Then the tour will continue to the site of the old Diekirch brewery where the National Museum of Military History is located at. This museum is considered one of the best for World War II knowledge. At the end of the day, you will be returned to your hotel.
