Luxor Temple
Luxor temple locates in the heart of the city and direct on the Nile. It was built by the king Imenhotep III, the grand father of Tutankhamun. More additions were made by Ramses II, like the pylons, obelisks and colossal statues in front of the entrance. The temple is well preserved. It is well recommended to visit it.
Karnak temple is the biggest religious complex in the world, it is such a massive open air museum and the oldest in Luxor city. Inside are the chapel of king Seti, temple of Ramses III, Statues of Ramses II, obelisk of Tutmosis II and another obelisk of queen Hatshepsut.
Valley of the kings is the most burial location in the world, where the royal tombs of the Pharaohs locates. There is the tomb of the boy king Tutankhamun, that was discovered in 1922 to be the only intact tomb of a king found. Tombs of Ramses II, Ramses III, IV, IX, Merenptah who was the son of Ramses II.
The temple of queen Hatshepsut is so unique with its three terraces and style. It is well known as the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut. The temple was renovated by a Polish expedition so why it looks very new.
The temple of Madinat Habu was built by the king Ramses III, it is the second biggest temple after karnak temple and the most well preserved one with colors and paintings inside.
The valley of the queens was the burial location of the Egyptian queens and kids. The tombs are so remarkable with the awesome paintings and scenes on walls.
Valley of the Nobles
Valley of the Nobles was the burial location of the rich people, governors, mayors, generals and priests. It has a massive number of tombs, many of them in a very good condition.
