    Rolling my own cigar was super fun! The cigar roller made it look like is easy, but it was a good teacher. They showed us all the process and then let us take our time rolling our cigars. Is one of the best experiences I had in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

    Great Experience!! Doing the cigar class was really fun, and all the explanation was really interesting. My family and I also enjoyed some craft beer at their bar and bought some cigars for the cruise ship and they are great!

    This cigar class exceeded my expectations. My husband is a cigar connoisseur, and we were expecting something very simple, but you actually roll cigars from start to finish. They show you all the leaves and you do it with a professional cigar roller. The translator was super patient with all my husband's questions, and they had a great variety of cigars in the lounge. I highly recommend it if you're in Puerto Plata.

    Had a Blast at Tabacalera Cremo! Making my own cigar in Puerto Plata was a highlight of my trip. The tour was cool and rolling my own cigar was a blast, the roller and translator were very knowledgeable, and I had some drinks at the bar. If you're in the Dominican Republic, you gotta check this place out!

    Although the experience making cigar was really good to find this place we had a really difficult time, as the address listed in the email was completely wrong. Unfortunately, the host in the cigar factory didn’t speak a lot of English, and we had a hard time understanding what they were trying to explain to us. Not only that, the English she could speak, she spoke so soft you couldn’t hear what she did say. Then another host joined her, and she wasn’t any better. Then at the end, when they try to sell you very high priced cigars, they never offered the “free beverage” that the package says it comes with. They give you a very small 3 inch cigar as the free cigar (they sell them for $12 each normally). They also sell a same size lighter cigar for $8, but they would not allow us to exchange a $12 cigar for an $8 cigar. They said the $12 was complimentary and they didn’t sell it to us. When I asked if I could buy more of the $12 cigars, she said yes. So again I asked if I could trade one (we got 2, one for me and my wife) for a lesser valued cigar, they would’t. It’s very unfortunate that this turned out the way it did, as it could be SO MUCH BETTER with just a couple of tweaks.
